Commissions Temporarily Closed
General:
All commissions are digital.
When you contact me for a commission, please let me know if you plan for me to illustrate multiple series of drawings/issues/comics. If you would like more than one, I will reserve an open spot in my client list until your series is over or until you would like to hire another artist.
When commissioning me, I need as many reference images as possible. If your character is original, give me a description and images that look similar to what you are thinking of. One thing that is not always necessary but always appreciated is if you make a quick sketch of a stick figure in the pose that you want me to draw your character in.
I am allowed to reject your request for any reason.
I Will Draw: Fanart, Comic Style Characters, OCs, Anime Style Characters, and Almost Anything SFW
I Will Not Draw: NSFW, NFTS, or Anything I Deem Inappropriate/ Am Uncomfortable Drawing
If you are not sure if I will draw your request, feel free to still contact me as I may draw it; however, if it falls under what I will not draw, then I will not accept your request.
Payment:
I do not accept free requests. This includes "payment" in exposure. In addition, do not try to bargain the price with me. I only accept payments of USD(United States Dollars) or conversion of your currency to USD. All payments are through Stripe, though this should not affect you too much as you can transfer money from several platforms directly into Stripe accounts. Half of the payment is to be turned in before I start working on your request. The second half of your payment is due on completion of the sketch and before I begin working on the final product.
Complexity Fees:
If your work is significantly complex, then when estimating the price, I will add a complexity fee. This fee applies to anything that is or can be difficult for me to draw and will raise the price depending on the level of difficulty. I will inform you of any fees after providing you with the estimate.
Commercial Use:
I am completely open to you using my work commercially for things like clothing, posters, or other types of merchandise. However, it is necessary that you inform me prior to estimating your payment, as it will affect the amount that is due. For commercial use, the price is marked up by 400%, or 4 times the total price, as this means I am essentially signing my name away from my work. If I find that after commissioning me, you have used my work for commercial use without informing me, I will contact you, restating the previous information. If you refuse to pay me what is due, this will cause a dispute.
You will also have to pay this fee if you would like me to remove my signature.
Even if you pay for commercial use, you still may not alter the artwork without my permission; you must still credit me, and you cannot claim the work is your own.
You may also use my work for things that do not make any money, such as profile pictures or social media posts; just ensure that you credit me when doing so.
Refunds:
You may receive a partial refund upon your cancellation if I have already received your second payment. You will receive a full refund if I have to cancel your request due to unforeseen circumstances affecting my ability to draw, such as injury, illness, or lack of time. If I need to cancel your request, but you would like me to continue, I will offer a refund of up to one-third of the total payment and extend the period that I work on your request. Please note that this may not always be an option, depending on what exactly is affecting my work.
Communication:
When contacting me, I will do my best to respond in a timely manner, but if I do not respond within 2 days of your initial message or email and my commissions are still open, resend your request. If my commission list is full, I may not message you as I will be busy working.
It is necessary that you, being my client, are in consistent contact with me. However, this does not mean that you should contact me asking for updates every hour. Please limit your contact to asking about updates once per day for drawings that take a week and once every other day for drawings that take more than a week. This ensures that all my time can go into your work without any unnecessary interruption. I will offer my time estimate in addition to a payment estimate before I begin work on your request. It is worth noting that it may take less time than the deadline. However, it will most likely take the full amount of time that I estimate.Â
Please ensure that when you contact me initially, you provide a full description of what you would like me to create for you. This description should include factors such as art style, character, character personality, character physical traits, pose, color scheme, clothing, hairstyle, items such as weapons, and the setting(if there is one). Also, tell me if you would like a sketch, line art, base color, or fully rendered piece.
After communicating your request, I will come up with a price estimate, of which you will pay half upfront. Then, once you pay, I will begin working on the pose and sketch. After this process is done, I will send the work in progress to you in a low-resolution image with a watermark. This is the start of the first revisionary period. During this revisionary period, you will tell me if the sketch meets your request standards. This is where you can have me change the pose or other major parts of the drawing. You can have up to 2 free changes during this period. After 2, you will have to pay an additional revision fee. Once you sign off on the sketch and provide the second payment, I will begin working on the final product. I will send updates depending on how the process is going or if you request one following the update rule above. Whenever an update is sent, you can make minor revisions, such as color. Once the work is finished, I will send you another low-resolution image with a watermark. This opens the second revisionary period. This period includes small changes to things like color. You may only receive 3 changes to color. After 3, you will have to pay an additional revision fee for each revision. Revisions might also change the time estimate, which I will inform you of when you ask for a revision. Finally, after you sign off on the finished product, I will send you the full-resolution PNG without a watermark through email or a Google Drive link.
If there is a failure of communication without prior notice from you lasting 3 days or more after the sketch is sent, I will cease work on your commission, thereby ignoring the previously given deadline. I will resume work once communication is started up again and will provide you with a new deadline. Please note that if you fail to communicate with me, any potential issue is on you. Therefore, you may not receive a refund.
After sending me a request through Discord, Instagram, or email, I will respond to you within 5 days unless my commissions have been closed. To avoid contacting me when my commissions are close, look at the top of my website to see my commission status.
My Illustration Rights As The Artist:
I can use any commission illustration for my portfolio or for future commission examples. I am allowed to retain ownership of my work unless we work out a form of a deal; if nothing is communicated, I retain full ownership of my work. I can use this work for self-promotion. I can post a lower-quality version of any work that I create for you on my social media accounts. I will not use your commission for merchandise. You may not use my art to train AI. You may not resell or relicense my art, and you may not use it for NFTs. You may not alter or repurpose my work without my permission. You may, however, use my work for things like personal prints, profile pictures, or social media posts; all that I ask in return is that you credit me whenever applicable. You cannot claim that you made or have full ownership of my work.
Thank you for considering commissioning me!
